I cannot believe that Newt is leading the Republicans for the nomination.NEWT. The guy that cheated on TWO wives & has been married THREE times. The guy that had his former wife served with divorce papers while she was in the hospital. A guy that ushered in the new GOP mindset that they are superior to anyone else & compromising is never an option. A guy that championed the mandate in the 90's, that got tossed out as Speaker for what many believe was taking BRIBES & became a lobbyist for F&F!

@mispistoleros I can't defend him for voting on the PA, but, Alan Grayson on Bill Maher "...the fact Wall Street has iron control over the economic policies of this country, and that one party is a wholey owned subsidiary of Wall Street and the other party caters to them as well. That's the real truth to the matter..." Though he may not have the whole story he is very intelligent man that is not in the big bank's pockets. I'd take him as one of Ron Paul's economic advisors.

Imho, RP is an unwitting Trojan Horse; wars and the fed will be off limits but he'll get all he needs to gut social services. Not much of a choice, perhaps by design.

@religiousabuse, I am sorry for all Americans that Alan Grayson, along with other progressive Dems, like Marcy Kaptur, voted to extend the Patriot Act.

In Feb., 2010, House Demoncrats sneaked the extension in under "Senate Amendments" with H.R. 3961, the Medicare Physician Payment Reform Act, so as not to be associated with its extension. Grayson voted "Aye".

He also voted in favor of the Rush Holt Amendment which made video-taking of interrogation mandatory.
