Hello!
First of all, I'd like to thank you for your amazing comments on my latest video.I do appreciate all of them; I'm so glad that you like it!
This video was made for the SYTYCV challenge.I was in the group "love-regret-fear", so I had to work with these 3 emotions.Matthew and Mary (the show is Dowton Abbey and it is brilliant; you have to watch it) were the first two characters that came up to my mind when I saw which group I am in.So I decided to vid them.
I mainly focused on showing their feelings; the editing is simple.

In the first part of the video, I tried to show how Matthew and Mary's relationship developes.At first, Mary doesn't like him but eventually they get closer and fall in love.She has some trouble admitting that though and is unsure of her feelings.So adding that quote was very important to me, because this is when Mary finally stops fighting against her true feelings.

Basically, from 1:00 to 1:47 I tried to show Mary's regret.So, even though she knows that she loves Matthew, she is still confused and not sure whether to accept him or not.She "plays" with him, delaying her answer to his proposal and eventually loses him.When Matthew comes back, he's a soldier in the war, and obviously has moved on -- he has a new fiancée now, Lavinia.Mary still has feelings for him, and strongly regrets and blames herself for letting Matthew go but at the same time she doesn't want to push him, so she just has to put up with the fact that Matthew has found someone else now.Still, Mary is heartbroken and it hurts her more than ever.

Since Matthew is a soldier now, Mary is incredibly worried about his safety.I tried to represent her fear of losing Matthew forever with some scenes -- she prays for him, she has never been more scared; she goes to send him off at the train station, she gives him her lucky charm and is afraid that he may not come back safe and sound, but tries not to break down and stay strong, pushing away from her mind that thought; later on she sees Matthew severely wounded and she is concerned about his recovery and scared about his life.
With the last few seconds, I actually showed her love for him again and her relieve when she sees him coming home safe.
