  • Kokanee salmon, also known as Sockeye, are fun but smaller than their counterparts that make their way to the ocean. Still, it's an important fish to fisheries and anglers everywhere. Flies are the best ways to get those on the bite. You can see however that the monsters in this water are obviously "not" sockeye. I love it.

  • Do they let you fish these waters, all the water where they are spawning is off limits in Utah,,,This reminded me of the Coconie salmon run on Strawberry,, the cuts also spawn in the river real thick but you can't fish the rivers during any spawn in Utah other than the brown trout in October,,, big ones too

  • @KidsKicksforChrist This is actually open water and not spawning grounds. I would never do that nor promote it.
