I'd hate to play a Splinter Cell game designed by this guy. "You have to switch between night mod and normal view, there is no middle ground." ...That's the fucking point. That's why there are light spots, and dark spots. If the maps only consisted of "middle grounds" there would be no places to hide, hence it would not be a Stealth Action, it would be an FPS. I bet you would think that Black Ops 2 is a great, 10/10 game. Shit review.

This guy was an Xbox cocksucker. I have both the PS2 and Xbox versions and both you have to be constantly switching between nightvision, heatvision, infrared and normal. That's part of the game. Obviously the PS2 version doesn't compare visually to the Xbox, but it has a lot of pretty nifty features. I liked the way they handled lighting on PS2 as dynamic particles.

    Gamespot sucks dick.

some of these footage look VERY similiar to the 3DS version, is spliter cell 3D some kind of remake of this one?

Resident Evil 4 shows that the Gamecube version should be much closer to the XBox/PC versions than it is. Gamecube's lighting, and especially its water and heat distortion effects (RE4, Twilight Princess, FF Crystal Chronicles) are well up to the task, but they just lazily ported the PS2 version (which itself was not pushing the PS2 very much to start with).
