'Haiti needs a relief effort that doesn't continue oppression'

Carl Dix of the Revolutionary Communist Party says that US-Haitian relations has influenced the way the relief efforts have unfolded in Haiti. Is there any solution except a revolution?

If you look at African history, you will find countless examples of tribes at war. Take Shaka Zulu, with the help of the european colonialists he captured a vast chunk of land from modern day south africa to the eastern coast of Africa. @christof139 Muslims never "enslaved" Christians I assume your speaking of say the Ottoman Devsirme system wherein young Christian boys from the Balkans region were taken by the Ottoman officials converted to Islam and trained in the Palace schools for work in the Palace or for jobs as elite military personnel. While this is not an acceptable system in our modern terms (you can't just take people's children) this was not "slavery" as the children become the elites of Ottoman society!
