Self Install Car Alarm Remote Start System & Proximity Motion Sensor in my Toyota Avalon

I refused to pay the $400 for an install of this car alarm & remote start system without first trying to do it myself. Watch as I show you that I was SUCCESSFUL at installing this Avital 5303 Avistart system by DEI. I also installed an optional proximity motion sensor.

If you truly do this for a living, then you ought to know that a custom install like this with only SOLDERED CONNECTIONS (no T-Taps or crimps) is not only very time-consuming & expensive, but it is VERY HIGH QUALITY! I don't ever plan on having problems with this install...that's why I did it myself...I wanted it DONE RIGHT. BTW, obviously I organized the Italian dinner prior to reassembly.

Can you put a video up on the effectiveness of your proximity sensor? I want to mount mine in the same spot, and was wondering how effective it is.

It started and stopped like the company designed it too,so he done something right! 400.00 buys alot of "real spaghetti" for his kids. Since most people on here cant spell I can asume they cant read so you might want to call this dude and ask him to read the directions to you or put the damn thing in your car. He'll probably only charge 200.00 for either.

Alarm remote starts in NJ "system addicts" have a wide variety of alarms and remote starts like Viper,clifford & Astrostart just to name a few.

How do find out what your car individually needs? I have no problem trying to figure this thing out--but I don't want to buy the wrong stuff.
