    I think that's it for most people - we always like the version we've seen first. I saw the original last year but this is MY version, it's the one that reminds me of childhood Christmas. The original version will never have the same memories attached to it as this one does.

    I don't understand the critics blasting this version. I love them both. The idea is to take yourself out of this lunatic world we created and imagine what it should be...both films do that for me!
