Goddamn! When you hear the vocals only it gives you even more of an indication about what a fucking incredible singer Dio was. In the top 5 all time. You can rank them anyway you want but I'll take Dio, Plant, Halford, Bob Seger, and Steven Tyler.

Awesome is a grossly overused word, but this truly is awesome. His voice just has raw power, then finesse... add to that his range (without going into falsetto)...

Dio, Halford, Tate, Dickinson then your own personal favourite... I have a soft spot for Meniketti. Mercury was a good shout... Ian Gillan maybe??

I find it kinda cool that there are little imperfections when he is doubling his vox...I always hear mine and never think it is good enough. That's encouraging. I also like the simplicity of it all. There is not layer upon layer upon layer...
