The sWARm (formally known as the uncivil war) is an event that takes place twice a year, once in the Spring and then again in the Fall. Each year it grows in popularity as pilots from near and far come together hell bent on destruction. New to this years sWARm was Bowling. Orange cones were placed on tables and pilots are awarded prize tickets if they can knock cones from the table and flyaway without crashing. Let's just say this new event was a real "HIT"!
The most popular kit used at the sWARm is the Grim Reaper kit. It's the same kit that was used to fly the GoPro camera in the video. They are made by Crash Test Hobby and can be purchased from www.PlaneInsaneRC.com as just a kit or with all the needed electronics, hardware and tape required to build (with the exception of hot glue and a iron).
Make sure you come check it out in the Spring of 2012. No go out there and hit something!

Hi - very nice combat wing vid! I always wanna start an dogfight once in the air at our field - but the others just won't join in. They're just afraid of my modified and tuned Gunfighter Mustang (with more tape then else).
Go check out my last "Sturmfliegen" vid to visit our field. We also did some baloon poping - but your cone bowling is a good idea also!

I would have to be there with a wide rimmed lineman's hardhat. There's no way I could keep up with a plane in that herd...no matter what color/marking it had....lol

The Grim Reaper is the most popular. They are $285 wich includes a 9 channel radio, glue and tape or $195 with out the radio (still includes the glue and tape). Check them out at PlaneInsaneRC.
