This is great!! I love Baltsa's voice, she's terrific here!

The whole scene is so Verdi-like, at once heavy and burning. Baltsa is in her best form - an ideal singing actress (and such great appearance - in that costume by Vakevich! ) for Verdi opera. Isn`t it a wonder that she is - as well - an ideal person for Mozart, Rossini, Donicetti, Bellini, Bizet, R. Strauss and verismo repertoire (and even Wagner, though, pity, she didn`t sing much of that composer)... and - for anything written for a woman`s voice!
And I love her curtain calls!
