PARK HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) -- A local animal hospital is looking for help as it treats a burned patient. The patient is a 2-year-old Labrador named Edison. He suffered burns over three-quarters of his body. Burning debris hit him during a house fire earlier this month. His owners turned Eddie over to Park Hills animal hospital because they can't afford his treatment. The hospital is using laser treatment and medicated baths to help the dog heal and deal with the pain. Eddie will eventually be available for adoption. But getting him to that point will require medication and surgeries that will cost thousands of dollars. The hospital is looking for donations to help pay for Eddie's treatments.
