She didn't have a hysterectomy. A salpingo-oophorectomy is where they take the ovary and the tube on one side (bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy would be taking both sides). The uterus is still left... if they take the uterus also, then it is a radical hysterectomy.
Take it from someone who's been there.

so sorry to hear that............ God speed.

She just had a fallopian tube and ovary removed...
ehere it has the little circled R and then salpingo-oophorectomy, it means the right tube and ovary.

This is why I believe in early ultrasounds, just to make sure things are where they should be. However, here in Canada you don't get an ultrasound until about your 18th week. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, and I have no idea when my baby died as I never got the ultrasounds. That's why they're so useful and shold be preformed at least in EARLY pregnancy

no its not im afraid it just when they take a tube not the lot!

Unfortunately, the answer is no. When a pregnancy is growing anywhere except in the uterus, the pregnancy poses serious risks to the mother's health and can even be fatal if the pregnancy is not terminated. No medical technology exists to move an ectopic pregnancy from the fallopian tubes to the uterus.
ok that was a little strange..
