I also was struck by the painting at 1:50 and in particular the definition of the flowers with white highlights. The white spot highlights in the flower on the right are a demonstration of a wonderful technique for non friskit painting. I'd like to see a video of this being done...The whole video that you posted is wonderful and inspiring. Thanks.

at 1:50, how on earth was the background made?? and even the white on the flowers? Frisket? See hwo the background is just so many different colors like that... did you use ceran wrap??? On the whole background??

this is what all my students learnt to do in my class, no frisket or ceran wrap, just a few simple techniques and practice
