This spring The Nature Conservancy and partnering agencies released 60 endangered Taylor's checkerspot butterflies into the South Puget Sound prairies. The butterflies were reared at the Oregon Zoo as part of a program that the Conservancy, the Department of Defense and Department of Fish and Wildlife are involved in to bring back endangered species that have found critical habitat on Fort Lewis.

  • I liked this video..It's nice to know there are people who still care about ALL types of God's creation.I have a butterfly garden and take lot of pictures of them. Here's a thought I wrote about Butterflies. A Butterfly- Colorful wings On an insects body Who's made to be free, To fly around And glide around, To land upon A pretty little flower, Then to fly away again.
