This is the 2nd. Instalment of my "No More Silence" series Entitled "As We Are".
"First off I would like to say that I created this for personal use and I do not intend to be using any of these for commercial use in the near or distant future (as the material stands right now) . I do not own the rights to the music or to the images seen. "
This one speaks for itself, but "As We Are" is a piece about Homophobia and discrimination and the unfortunate acts of violence that Gay people world wide are forced to endure. It also shows from both sides the effects it has on the people around us. Too many lives have been lost and too many tears have been shed for the rights that "everyone" is entitled to. Love knows no race, color, gender. Love is Universal and it belongs to us all.
All of the images are taken of actual protests, riots, arrests, beatings, hangings, vigils that the GLBT and PFLAG communities have so bravely fought through so that we may have the rights that we have today.
There is still a very long way to go, but through the undeniable courage and strength of these people, we may soon be able to see a day where there is no more Homophobia.
You don't have to be Gay to say "No"
help put an end to discrimination today.
