Prof. Soloway is a leader in developing technology-based curricula and is a strong advocate for the use of mobile computing for learning. His research interests include the use of technology in education and the development of software that takes into consideration the unique needs of learners. He is a co-founder of GoKnow!, which provides MLE, the Mobile Learning Environment software for handheld environments. Prof. Soloway teaches courses in mobile applications development and encourages his students to think entrepreneurially.
