  • give me all that oak please.

  • I think there's enough there to make my 'Hayrake Table'! Fascinating stuff. Thanks for taking the time to let us see this.

  • 1. Watch your fingers ! Why is that guy touching wood thats about to fall ?

    2. Beautiful piece of wood. I`d love to have some of that !

  • Very nice custom sawing :)

  • pretty cool all the stickered wood,

    but kinda sad also,

    all the old girls stuck

    but

    buzz

  • IS THAT OAK FROM THE U S A

  • @TheStinkyda I'm not insulting anyone. Just plain statement of facts as I see them. I've never seen the word "ineradicable" before. What does it mean? I'm not much of a woodworker myself. Just learning the basics. My sawmill operation is small. Just me and a portable band sawmill. And a solar dry kiln. Thickness planer too. Been doing the sawmill thing for 13 years now. Been sawing some Ash just today.

    Cheers.

  • @localcrew Quality over Quantity Pal. So you are in the business? I have meet many people in different business's for over 40 years who never advance yet love to insult everyone else in the same trade.

Looks like most of those warm body's are wood working students learning where there wood comes from.Maybe video is meant to inform rather then to impress a few with there ineradicable speed?

I have been a Joiner for 25 years & buy logs & know many sawyers w/ operations large and small.

    Cheers

  • @TheStinkyda I don't know if we're watching "an" [sic] different video or not, since I don't know which video you're watching. I'm watching the one entitled "OneOak tree at the sawmill". I stand by every word I wrote previously. Re-read it if necessary. These guys don't know what they're doing. With a setup like that and all those warm bodies, they should be blasting through that log lickety-split. They're not. I'm in the business, BTW. These guys are pathetic.
