A quick look at the "Baby" Glock 27 chambered in .40 S&W. This is my choice for a conceal carry weapon, and I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a subcompact pistol.

  • I'm between the G27 and G23. I'm leaning towards the G27 because of it's smaller size and easy concealment but I'm wondering about shooting feel and accuracy. If you've shot both (which it sounds like you probably have), do you notice a lot of difference in accuracy between the two? My thoughts are to get the G27 and if after practice on the range with it I'm having issues with it, get a G23 magazine with the grip extender essentially turning it into a G23. Thoughts?

  • @wfu900 The extended mags on the 27 do make it easier to hang on to, but even with the G27 mag without an extension on it it is still very manageable. It takes a little bit more practice and some people consider it "snappy" but I absolutely love the way it shoots. As far as accuracy there is no difference that I can see. Maybe if you are some insane sharpshooter shooting HUGE distances there would be a difference but in all reality and practical use, accuracy is the same.

  • Great review I just bought one, thank you!

  • What is the holster in this review? Can't make out what was said and I have a G26 and would like to check them out! Thanks.

  • Nice review Boyer!

I just picked up a G27 about 2 weeks ago. I also went ahead and picked up a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel. It gives me the ability to range shoot on the cheap, while carrying a larger defensive round.

  • 1 O'Clock? You'll shoot your balls off!

Only good comments and no dislikes.?.. I figured you pissed off "almost" every guy, over 40, @ 11:52! LOL!

Great review! But, given my aging eyesight, I replaced my Glock 19 with the Ruger SR9c as my EDC. Not that it is any "better" than the G19, but I am more accurate with it. And, shot placement is EVERYTHING.

  • nice review man. A G26 is on my wish list for guns for a carry gun (too broke right now). I've shot compact guns before and find that I personally shoot subcompact 9mms better than .40s so therefore I favor 9mms. But nothing in the world wrong with G27s, a fine weapon indeed. Peace.

  • Nice review. This is my off duty and back up pistol.
