HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

sony vegas is being a butt!!!
so i tryed opening a mp4 thing and it wont work...this goes for all mp4 videos!
....any one know how to fix it?!
please help!!
and dont say its the quick time thingy
ive done downloaded it already!!

@xsweetcutiexx i've been using dvd (ntsc)?....but it comes out bad quality will dvd (pal) and avi have bad quality?

@xsweetcutiexx yea i have vdownloader i just dont like using the avi cuz it doesnt either have the video or the audio....but oh well thnx for the help :)

@luvyajoejonas well there r 2 different ways u can either redownload them on vdownloader nd put them in avi format or u can download avsvideoconverter but that labels ur video so i suggest vdownloader

@TheRockstardom i know it used to work for me i have pro 8 some people said it only works for pro 9 now...so that means i have to downlad the whole damn thing again....? but i still dont get it because it worked for me

i finally asked for help on the internet and it said it was my quicktime program...i reinstalled that and now all my mp4 videos are all messed up so idk...
