Did England's 'goldern standard of gun controll' prevent the riots? When the only gun law England had was the original understanding of the 1689 constitution where citizens were to be armed and the government wasn't to be(which is why bobbies aren't armed) armed robbery was all but non existant and the U.K. had one of the worlds lowest homicide rates.Today gangs run the streets and cities are a blaze.A safer country due to 'gun controll' my foot.

@MrTgelin You seem to have a very strong opinion on guns. I would assume you have a great deal of evidence that gun laws reduce violent crime. Do you have any evidence? Any at all? Can you give me even 1 example of a gun law reducing crime? Is someone more dead if they are shot vs stabbed or beaten to death?

The problem is that gun control supporters do not read books on gun laws, nor do they research. They base their views on opinion rather than facts & unfortunately, opinions do not save lives.
