I hope not, this planet almost certainly has a limit along with the sun, if you was immortal (as in an infinite lifespan) one day you'll be all alone just floating in deep space.
The problem of immortality is described well in basic philosophy and that is that nobody would want to be immortal because there is nothing you would want to do forever, humans are capable of boredom so logically even if you can be entertained for infinity you also have to be bored for infinity too.

A Canon HV30 + Raynox wide angle. I'm not worrying about going for the 'film look'. It's alla about atmos and story. Good luck with yours....
