New Labor figures show rise in unemployment to 10.2%

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that unemployment rose to 10.2% in October. BLS Commissioner Keith Hall testified on the latest numbers before the Joint Economic Cmte. Also, Pres. Obama spoke on the unemployment rate, economy and the shooting at Fort Hood.

I know this post is old, but TheGranule... stupidest thing I ever heard, national debt has only been paid of once... back in 1835 under President Andrew Jackson. The national debt was just under 6 trillion dollars the entire time Clinton was in office.

I love it that the Republicans are upset that the unemployment figures are the SAME as they were in the 3rd year of Reagan's first term. I love it that the Republicans think of Reagan is a g-d, he was a third rate actor who had Alzheimers in his second term, and probably often thought he was in a movie. He read from scripts given to him, and would use note cards in world meetings, which he would not change a word of, cause he couldn't.
