punches are sometimes looked down apon and used as a last ditch move that's why they avoid it

this is all fine and dandy from a distance, but it seems like when they are up close, they don't know what to do. not to mention it LOOKS nice, but where are the punches?

you should join the sparring team! i havent been there in a few months due to a knee injury.. But when i come back ill mainly be at sparring practises

Their guard is low to block kicks, notice how they aren't allowed to punch to the face.
