I used to live near there. I was the only lonely gringo on the school bus from Madero. Back then, the Mission was beautiful. You could drive or walk up and make a small donation at the door and take a tour. It was like an art gallery with eerie paintings made by the patients who lived nearby. I always dreamed of buying it and living there. I can't believe it has been torn down. Why?

I was there a few years ago and at night... on halloween.. the building was still in tact and there is most def something there.. we heard a weird screeching in a room and a big bang down in the basement.. Also down in the basement there was a room with children drawings in it. this is a haunted location. much thanks the the security for letting us in.

i just went there today there was no gates or anything !! thats werid ! my friends and I went in side that thing even in the rooms in the bottom...... pretty kool
