I'm not trying to rag on you but what you are doing has very real implications both for yourselves and for others. Ask permission, let someone know where you are, bring proper gear and safety equipment and always know where the people you came with are. If you get hurt, your family suffers, paranormal research suffers, the owner of the property suffers and you suffer. Ask yourself next time you want to do something like this if all that is worth it.
too many stories about kids out on a lark to find ghosts who end up getting hurt, sometimes very seriously, because they were out for a thrill. You all need to be careful and do things the correct way to insure your own safety before you go into a place like this. There are very real dangers that you might face that can harm you. Asbestos, weak floors, weak roofs, glass, mold and any number of other things. It's too late to say it was all in fun when somebody winds up in hospital.
This is the problem that real paranormal investigators have with getting into places. People who don't ask permission and then basically "break into" a property for the thrill of it. Leaving aside the very real risk of being seriously hurt in an abandoned property, you are breaking the law because no doubt someone still owns this property. What if one of you were seriously injured in this building? Would anyone go for help? How would you explain what you were doing there? I have seen and heard..
