You should do a video tutorial on how to make an adapter for the lipo battery!! Did your Hydro-fly with the original battery run well (how long?) or was it not too long?
-
what can i do to make the Hydro-fly battery last longer (original one)?
Can I just buy a lipo battery or something? Your Hydro-fly seems to be running a lot longer.

You may be able to try another battery like a lipo.

I would have to say no. This is only 2.5 channels. It has a 3 step throttle, bang-bang rudder, and bang-bang elevator. The storm launcher is all proportional. Although they are both fun, the storm launcher has more control.

It can run for about 7-10 minutes. I have not really timed it yet though. It has much more power too.

I just took a regular lipo battery and made kind of an adaptar for it. The adaptar is made from the plug off of the heavy nimh battery that came with the hydrofly and a regular JST plug. There are 3 wires. The red and black are the ones being used to run the plane, so you insulate the yellow wire. So you plug the adaptar into the hydrofly plug and at the end of your new adaptar, you plug in your lipo battery. I would probably only use a 2 cell lipo battery from 450-900mAh and 7.4V. Good luck.
