you don't know a first thing about air combat... they do break their formation to avoid incoming missiles... Serbian MiG-29 pilots did this in air to air combat whit NATO pilots in 1999, whit more or less success...

lol dude just keep it calm OK ? i play Lock On from 3 years... i know a lot about tactics... the F-16s in the video fire a missile and keep on going in the same direction without breaking the formation.. That's no air combat.. you've not assigned targets for the F-16s, you need to learn more about the Mission Editor dude...

F-16's where tasked to intercept target (me in mig-29), whit attacked points given... so cut the crap, they didn't break the formation because CPU didnt see a need for it, they where guiding their missiles on me... when they did, it was too late, R-77 doesn't miss...

@yuri60014 I do like the F4 but i love the Fulcrum, and the old F4's are a piece of shit, i was referring to upgraded versions but i'm not denying that it doesn't hold a candle to any mig-29

Germany has given away the Mig 29s(one in museum,one crashed) because of their maintenance costs etc. But they were from former NVA,not purchased from Russia. They were replaced by the Eurofighter anyway.One Eurofightwer would have no problems against mig 29 anyway. J-10 has fundamental aerodynamical problems,like the builtup of air between canard and main wing. J10's oversized rudder also indicates related problems.

@Elfulcrum777 Even Israel has purchased MIG-29, they haven't been used in combat because they already have their F-15I and F-16 though I . It is a very capable air craft if left in the right hands and MIG-29M outclasses the F4E the air intake geometry was revised and enlarged inlet dimensions for Higher air flow increased wingspan and aileron and revised trailing edges to improve aerodynamics don't underestimate this bird

@xxwzaebd Is Germany not "First world"? (like you people like to call it)and they still have advanced variants of the MIG-29, and India to? and they're main fighters are the Su-30MKI and MIG-29M , K , Chinese fighters are a different story entirely the J-10 is not really comparable to the Sukoi or the MIG it would be more comparable with the Euro-fighter as they employ similar air frame characteristics and the reason most of these countries purchase American is because they are now NATO member

Another problem is that Migs don't have a superior support infrastructure. This is the real differernce between airshows/single mock combat and real war. None of the First World nations have purchased Russian/Chinese jet fighters,for very good reasons.
