  • Just discoverd her work yesterday and she is a remarkable and accomplished pioneer in CG. I had thought computer scientists like Ed Catmull and the work at Evans Sutherland were the first to create computer generated graphics and images. Cool work!

  • I like this. Imagine if painter's copyrighted their technique (dots) or paints and didn't allow them to be mixed. Sorta like audio files now.

  • Since the nature of their collaboration is not clear, the actual computer animation that Lillian edits swatches of into her films was created by software written by Ken Knowlton at Bell Labs.
