The Pajama Game - Steam Heat

Here's our high-school's version of "Steam Heat" from our production of "The Pajama Game". It's actually the original Fosse choreography (though adapted a bit, darn those splintery platforms) that not many schools do, so I decided to put it up here. These guys actually practiced the dance longer than the three months of rehearsal for the musical, and considering that the guy on the right came in as an understudy without any dance experience...kudos to everyone!

Also, the footage is actually from two different nights with the same audio throughout. Yay for microscopic timing adjustments. ;-P

((P.S. If you are putting on "The Pajama Game" and you want Hines and Gladys in the 'traditional' jail-pajamas at the end: START LOOKING NOW! If you buy them pre-made, it'll probably be from an online Halloween Store (and those are EXPENSIVE!). What we ended up doing for our production was buying two cotton pajama sets (slightly big on our characters) and having Gladys' Mom paint the stripes on them. They turned out really well.
