Rwandan Genocide

In 1994 genocide occured in Rwanda under the neglectful eyes of the world. A million people where massacred in only 100 days. The streets ran red with blood. This was one of many genocides in our history and it is still happening in our world and will continue to happen until we each iindividually stand up and speak out. We should all know the potential for hate is within all of us and fight against it and make peace not only in our world but in our neighborhoods and in our hearts.

It is inconcevable that in this day and age we allowed something like this to happen. Shame on us, shame on UN.

a few of the 5000 had guns....and i mean 1 or 2....and not even good guns....and these few guns bought these folk time. I forget how long but it was closer to a week than a day or two.

In the end it did not help them as no help (Thanks alot UN) came, but time is of great value as no genocide can last forever.

Perhaps IANSA and the UN will lay off on their disarming of civilians and let some of them defend themselves from genocide/ democide.

I wonder if evrybody knows that it was the DUTCH who really started all of it.

They were the ones who made uo ID Cards for everyone, so now all could be identified I guess we have all seen the result of that great plan.

Then when it all really horrific, they went home, leaving only a small force of Canadian soldiers todeal with it

Who is killing who in Africa is only dependant on which tribe is in power at the time.
