people actually dying? transgender? g-force/gatchaman even forced me to learn how to read, so i could read the titles and know what was going on. i was around 4 or 5.

@spadehatesscrewtube Looks like we had some throwbacks overseeing the English dub doing more renaming. The Japanese version of the OVA uses the original names (Ryu, Jinpei, "Red Impulse", Berg Katse, Sosai X) rather than the "other" new names (Rocky, Jimmy [the falcon!], Red Specter, Solaris and Lord Zortek respectively); they also kept the "Bird Go". (Amazingly, the OVA English dub also kept Dr. Nambu's name.) Owashi no Ken with short hair doesn't work anywhere though . . .
