I know it is very fast. that is what pause is for.

Here it is. After at least 100 people requested a tutorial on my awesome LARP weapons, here it is!

make sure you got annotations turned on, because all the instructions will be in those.

I cannot be held responsible for your failed attempts at trying to do as instructed. its a learning process, and its taken me years and many hand-crafted latex weapons to reach the point where I am today.

  • I've been looking for a tutorial for latex weapons for some. Thank you so much for putting this up. Would you know how to do a latex shield by any chance? I am unsure how to do the core (looking to do a curved kite shield)

  • @Domo230 well, that depends on the local rules actually. I know that it is actually to stiffen and curve a shield using no cores or plates of wood. Ideally a latex shield should be 100% plates of foam actually. 3 plates are good for thickness. An alternate way is to take a foam matress (they're usually those big yellow ones), they're very thick - and you can simply carve a curved shape out of that, which you can then reinforce with regular foam plates and 'girders'. That make sense?

  • you've just earnt a subscriber! :D

  • @treganbri yay :)

  • That hammer was pretty good!

  • @VVProductionsChannel Thank you - and it is!

  • hey can you make a tutorial on the double axe

  • A couple of the first weapons I saw made me skeptical, but then that gorgeous hammer showed up, and that very very nice double axe. However, with your comment about scars on the weapon from repairs to damaged cores, I think you can weave them into a chaotic look and make the weapon look better. Maybe if you have a broken one laying around, you could show us an example? =D

  • @bloxingisfun true - that might make a much sturdier and more detailed weapon... but few people have access to tools needed to make that. I've tried to make molds for latex casting... and its very difficult.

  • I'd rather use a mold and make it out of one solid piece of foam. (which i know how to do)
