Contemporary Camp: Inspired By Nature

Day 5 Metamorphosis Contemporary Camp at the ABC Center for Performing Arts. Age range from 9-17. All of the dancers are members of the Metamorphosis Contemporary Company and ABC's Performance Team.

After a week of straight improv work, the girls were finally given some time to "choreograph" themselves. The task was to come up with 6 sets of 8 using some part of nature as inspiration. Sunshine was a popular favorite, but others included wind, flowers and the sky. The dancers were asked to continue using organic, natural movement. Each girl choreographed independently, and we put it together to film. Enjoy! (:
