@ZZqezza Agree too. Really love track 2 The last Living Rose & 6. On Battleship Hill . Still the album doesn't have the punch and grind that Rid of Me or Stories of the City Stories of the Sea-both tilted my ear in F.... amazing way . Polly Harvey is a gift to the world!

@montecarlostar I agree with you. I love her and I even like her newest album but something which attracts me to her music is missing in this new stuff.

Don't hear bjork . . . but am hearing Joanna Newsome. Or Malvina Reynolds on crack.
But that's not a bad thing - and still sounds quite original.

this song is pretty interesting. i can't wait for the record! bless her lovely weird musical mind :)
I waited for 4 hours to be in the very front with some similarly friendly and devoted folks. She was so brilliant: sweet, quirky, polite, warm and of course, overfilling with her incredible voice and talent. Love you Polly!

I must free myself of the "ballast" that is the comfort level of her previous persona s (that were exactly fitted for that time-PJ is too far ahead at this point.for me But I am compelled to reach for that next rung- she won't retreat & neither should we.
