@ukchristian28 "He didn't preach any truths." Yes, he did. Relatively speaking and metaphorically as well Islam is the MOST violent and depraved of all the major religions. The fact that the majority of Egyptians voted for Islamists attests to this FACT. "Burning the Koran does advance the truth" because people can see to what degree Muslims are against non-Islamic values.

Muslims tend to go on the war path whenever anyone insults them and the media sympathizes them. Whenever Christians protest, the media laughs at them.

I am almost positive there have been several bible burnings by muslims groups in the past.
Muslims are over reacting. I don't agree with Pastor Jones but he has every right to burn the Quran and i don't hate him for it nor do i think he is scum.

@DarkQuietWyattON Lots of books have been burned, not just Jewish books. Women also burned their bra's en masse years ago too! It doesn't necessarily mean "Kill". The most offensive thing to burn to many people is the flag of your country. To many people, that's an absolute "no no". However, Muslim countries have been burning the US and British flag for years, repeatedly, for different reasons. Did the Brits and yanks go out and riot and kill? No. Why? because we're civilized, and they're NOT!

He didn't preach any truths. The act of burning the Qur'an didn't advance the truth of Christianity in any way. All it did was harm Muslim/Christian relations and put people at risk of attack. The offence of the gospel is the cross of Christ. We don't need additional offence to that.
