So he "misspoke". . . I'm sorry, but saying something along the lines of, "would you pass me the sugar"?, when meaning to say, "would you pass me the salt"?, is misspeaking. What he said was down-right ignorant, and hateful, and he's more than lost his credibility on that.
The only reason he apologized is because conservatives like him are social Darwinist and ONLY care about money and business interests. In other words, a non-business organization, especially one not tied to a white-led organization (i.e. US Chamber), would never have received an apology.

The fact that Dobbs would even make such a "mistake" says a lot.
Obviously, in his mind, the word "Hispanic" brings all kinds of nasty associations. If that's not racism, then what is?
