Hogwash to the four people that disliked this video, PURE HOGWASH, I SAY! Poe was a literary genius and should be praised for his works for years to come, for he induces the deepest and darkest emotions in the human soul. That, and with as a great an actor and orator as Vincent Price, "The Cask of Amontillado" becomes a truly unforgetable story. In Pace Requiscat, Vincent and Edgar!

it is not full. large part of the story was cued out.

I was a small child the first time I read this story, along with The Tell Tale Heart. Both terrified me, but especially the Cask of Amontillado, as I imagined being sealed in to die slowly, alone in the dark surrounded by bones.
Watching Vincent Price perform this piece is like experiencing that terror for the first time. The impression doesn't fade, no matter how many times I watch him interpret the story.

It is sad to see the crap that is portrayed as "good" acting on mainstream networks now.Second rate actors making tons of money.Reality T.V garbage.God bless the keepers of the true art form,who respect the tradition and keep its standards high.
