Can you soften up the springs any? It looks like there is a lot more travel available. If you can increase that travel distance, it would reduce the felt recoil even more.

@SafeArmsReview It looks like everyone that got this stock took for granted that you'll get check slap. Or accepted check slap as part of it function. No you should not get any check slap. If you do you need to condition the stock. Watch my video response to see how to do that.

You'll notice he has a forward pistol grip to keep from getting slapped in the face.

i like that stock ,and my gun came with it it was just 40.00 option . nutnfancy dont like it , but i dont like everything he does , take others opinion also. nutnfancy is a tactical god , and yes i even subscribe to tnp. you have to decide some things yourself ,and research everybodys opinion. 1 negative against 500 positives what do you think?

Now lets put that stock on a semi-auto shotgun and see if you can't bump-fire it like the stock on your rifle. ;)

@tartredarrow shoot some 00 or slugs, the answer will be obvious:D

@InTheSticks0001 Massad Ayoob believes the 20ga with buck has about 55% less recoil yet according to medical professionals he is associated, it is still as effective as 12ga buck.

The stock is a great idea. Less felt recoil means faster back on target. BTW, although I love the channel, I do not care for handguns, but I do love the 870!

I bought this stock before I deployed to make it easier for my wife to use my gun if she needed to. I got back 6 months ago and it is still on there. If you think it makes sense to have your buttstock pound the crap out of your shoulder than don't use this stock. Personally, I will use it for deer hunting this year and bird hunting in the spring. Less recoil means less time reaquiring your target. This stock takes almost all the recoil away. It will only punch you in the face if you deserve it.
Hey i have used this stock before and it dose reduce felt recoil but it bites into your cheek. After a few shots it will hurt because the plastic just goes right into your cheek hard. Look at Nutnfancys review. I don't hate it I just would not use it.

@RiVerGhost308 Lots of ppl have problems because they dont use the stock properly. Heck lots of folks dont know how to shoot a regular sg & experience the same problem.
If you have to lay your head down on the stock it WILL hit your cheek = duh.
However if you bring the sg up to the side of your face/your line of sight, you do not have these problems. So many ppl dont read the directions or use wrong techniques & them blame equipment = wrong.
