BOB DOWNE (the comic creation of Mark Trevorrow) really hit his stride in London with THE BOB DOWNE SPECIAL, his very own New Year's Eve TV show, with guest stars Ant & Dec, the late Anthony Newley and Martine McCutcheon. It was also Bob's chance to sing his signature songs in the huge, atmospheric London Weekend Television Studio 1, with legendary Music Director LAURIE HOLLOWAY and a superb band.
