music like this is much better on nylon strings, each note is heard so much better on them. flawless playing here nonetheless, and the guitar taylor steel strings are sweet

Sorry, I can't accept any credit for this one! Lladnekj taught himself the Bouree by listening to a recording. I actually had to re-learn it after not having played it for about twenty years, because I was a little embarrassed that he could play it and I couldn't! I'm still trying to catch up to him with Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring which he learned from a transcript I gave him!

So, did you learn this style of playing using a steel string guitar? Isn't that tough on your fingers? Was it a lot slower to get good this way?

@stewinsalot I started playing the guitar on a nylon string, but switched to a steel string after a few years. I don't find it any harder to play the steel string, and my fingers were already calloused when I made the switch.
