Tommy Davis is the current spokesperson for the entire Scientology organization. Lately, he's been open to interviews with television and newspapers. The St. Petersburg Times posted the entire audio of their interview with Tommy Davis, and one particular section caught our attention. Tommy Davis, as an acting religious spokesperson, swearing and blaspheming. Also, denying the importance of beatings taking place in Scientology and simply wanting to pass the buck to someone else.

To not swear falsly in the name of god means to use god's name as a wager chip to not take it as a comparable possession. Meaning it is a bad thing to wager anything in the name of god.
