  • Superb shooting with open sights!

I own a No.5MkI myself and just love the Enfields design...

In my opinion it is a far better rifle than the K98k. I have to commit that as a German. ;-)

  • This rifle is still usedin modern conflicts (most controvercialy asthe prefered taliban sniper)

  • Damn! that's excellent shooting at 300 with N0.1 sights. I prefer the N0.4 rear peep as I am uncomfortable with leaf rears. I noticed in your other videos you have a N0.4, what was the longest you shot using the iron sights?

  • @mag30th 37 hits on a 12in plate at 300 yards in 1 minute

  • good shot dude !

  • @optikon1 I would argue that the Enfield is superior to the Mosin Nagant in all respects except for one. The mosin nagant wins in the one aspect that mattered most to the Soviet Union... the capability to make millions upon millions, and at a much lesser cost. That's what the soviet union needed. The enfield wouldn't have been effective for the soviets, because they would have never been able to afford the numbers they needed. Each military rifle plays it's own role.

  • Best bolt action rifle of WWII hands down....I would rather go into combat with one of these over some of the rifles in service now!

  • These rifles are seriously one of the best combat rifles ever made! I love seeing videos like this, a 93 year old rifle that might have seen combat in the trenches of World War one can still come out and preform like that. I'm curious what company build your rifle?

  • thats some good shootin right there

  • @optikon1 No it's not. I've fired Mosin Nagants before and they don't come close to my No.1 Mk III.
