@steppnstone629 Hey buddy, are you serious? your - I suppose - stock LS1 Camaro? I've had a 99 Z28 long ago, indeed it was great and fast even for some of today's fast cars, however the Ford Mustang managed to compete with the Camaro for decades with smaller engines, the only Mustangs I hated so much were the SN95 (1994-1998) but the ones before (1989-1993) were fast enough to run high 13s to 14s flat, the (1999-2004) models ran the same, the Bullit mid 13s, the Mach1 very low 13s!! all were NA!

@UkWiLdCaTs4L1Fe You're right, it has always been dead last up until 2012 when they got the 6.4 liter. I'm not trying to say a 5.0 can't beat it, it can. The numbers are close enough that the driver can make the difference, but with equal drivers the 6.4 is a tad faster than the 5.0. All you gotta do is search the test results and compare the traps/ETs. As far as the SS goes, it doesn't even come close to the new 6.4 SRT-8, or 5.0.

Dude off the showroom floor it is slower than the SS and Mustang. Its always been dead last. You present no facts what so ever. Show me a vid where a stock for stock challenger beats a mustang.

@hilde198881 Why the hell does anyone need car that goes 200 MPH? The highest speed limit I have seen in the U.S. is 75 and in Canada 110 KPH or 68 MPH. Gas is north of $4 per gal and over $5 in Canada. If you can afford the gas to feed the beast that is the least of your problems. Here in the Great White North there is winter, ice and snow so you only drive it in the summer. That means 2 cars, not very smart is it.

@hilde198881 The Charger is a full sized 4 door sedan and it is being compared to a pony car. Does the word Dahhh mean anything to you. The Challenger would be a closer match but it isn't a pony car either, it is closer to a grand tour. I look at it this way, I am not going to race on the track or street so don't care who wins. I want a car that is quick, comfortable and has a real trunk for trips. The Challenger and Charger do that way better the any Stang or Camaro.

@hilde198881 can your charger or any dodge do that besides the acr viper no dodge and chevy is long ways behind ford and always will be aint it pretty bad a 5 liter beat a 6.4 liter it makes me shake my head foreal bcuz dodge and chevy try everything to compete with ford and lose if the camaro cant beat the 5.0 then the charger cant bcuz the camaro is even faster then the dodges
