i have noticed that with my helix that if you put negative to outside coil you get a better quality of gas as its a larger coil (more surface area) for hydrogen to form on.
if you make sure the outer coil is 2x as long as inner coil you get optimum mix of oxygen and hydrogen
do you know if these work ok with a PWM?? ive ordered one and am currently waiting for better electrode materials aswell for car system. made test helix out of coathanger (not 316 s/s)
any ideas? plus 40%mpg atm 4 35amp

pre whats your volt & amp level, and liters per minute for this setup? I'm trying to find the setup here on youtube that produces the most lpm for the least amps at 12 volts.

i'm not too sure, what i know is that they are used extensively offshore, ie cranes, winches, etc. and they come in diff sizes. A common example of wire rope is a bicycle brake cable, although this might not be a stainless. google "wire rope" and i'm sure you will find suppliers. have a nice day...

Are these wires same as those that are used for fishing?
Awesome.... I plant to do my own experiments. How long did you run it ?
you were running 3 double helix coils consuming only 9 amp ( 12 volt dc )?
what was your water temp ?

i ran tests for as long as 4-5 hrs, the water temp just gets a bit warm...actually, in the video there are two sets of coils running...i've tried running three but i found two would give the best production( by eyeballing only)...am a bit busy right now, but i plan to do more experiments with different configurations of helices...happy experimenting....

Hi
Can you draw a template for the holes you drilled, and how do you wire the helix? Looks like you have four wires each side of the helix.
Thanks

u need 4 rows of holes, 2 rows for each helix. for the outer helix i drilled holes 10mm apart on each row. same w/ the inner one. the dia of the inner one is 25mm and the outer is 45. gives a 10mm separation bet wires of d outer and inner helix.i experimented with diff wirings(+ on one end, - on d other) w/out noticeable difference in output. Also, w/ diff configs (same direction of helices and one w/ counter dir.) however, nid more testings in a sealed container 2 hav an accurate output readings.

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to ask you if you are using tap water and if you have added anthing to the water?
Many thanks

it is tap water with about 2 teaspoons of baking soda on a liter of water. happy testing...
