[High Quality Video] This is a retired 1981 GMC RTS T8J204. This bus spent most of its like at SCRTD / LACMTA. It was retired sometime around 1999/2000.

Actually, they were discontinued 2008, not 2007. It was also the same year that the Orion V was discontinued.

These buses were a perfect fit for L.A. transit and all the other RTS's that roamed the streets during their tenure. This was the way of life for L.A. bus riders.

Who got the last orders of Gillig Phantoms? I thought Pittsburgh PAT had the last ones and stopped making them like early 2006. I guess Making High Floors doesn't even exist anymore as of now. Sadly my hometown in Michigan is retiring their 1996-98 Gillig Phantoms.
