This adult bald eagle arrived at Free Again about 6 weeks ago, supposedly paralyzed due to an altercation with a pair of eagles in the wild. His outlook wasn't good. Luckily, he allowed people to hand-feed him, so he stayed under close observation for a few days. 72 hours later, he was found in his cage standing upright and looking around. It seemed as if his paralysis was completely gone! Now restless, the eagle was placed in a mew where he flapped around normally and ate on his own. He was eventually moved to a flight cage to stretch his wings and immediately he flew to the other side. He was almost ready for release! With the cooperation of the Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge, this eagle is now free to roam the skies once more.
