Bonus trivia: the Russian SFSR did not have a republic anthem, but all the other Soviet republics did. Some of them sound even goofier.

Yes, I suspect the actual soviet anthem skips the part about thier military wearing silly faceplates. It may very well have a verse dedicated to the abolition of chivalrous retardation however, but I've never seen a full translation, so I couldn't really say.
