What a hit! This tune has remained with me since I first heard it in 1966. It's like The Who meets The Kinks meets an American garage band (circa 1965 -- 1966). Powerful and dynamic! This is real music for real people.
@gilgamess hey thanks! yeah, i bought that book a while back, i just couldn't remember if joe docko was the youngest in the band, he was quite a guitarist at such a young age! no doubt, an excellent book and cd.. when it comes to 1960s garage/psych stuff, it's hard to surpass richie unterberger on knowledge!
WOW raised to the millionth power. Happy New Year 2012 to all.
