Established in 1988, the Law Offices of Wong, Wong & Associates, P.C., formerly known as Raymond H. Wong, P.C. is one of the largest Chinese-American owned law firms in the New York area. With its concentration on civil and criminal litigation, the firm represents clients in the areas of commercial and other civil litigation, criminal matters, appeals, international business transactions, securities, real estate, intellectual property, matrimonial law and immigration. Our attorneys can appear in the courts of the States of New York, New Jersey, and Florida, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and Federal Circuit. Raymond H. Wong came to the United States in 1973. After he finished high school, he attended Boston University to study chemistry. Later he earned a Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master¡¯s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the City College of the City University of New York. After obtaining his J.D. from New York Law School, he worked as supervisor of the Department of Computing at Mount Sinai Medical Center while starting to develop his private practice. As a minority owned firm, Mr. Wong put special emphasis on advocating the rights for minorities and serving the community. As early as 1991, Raymond H. Wong was appointed as Asian American representative of the Independent Judiciary Screening Committee to the Supreme Court of New York. He was also member of National Committee on United States-China Relations, board member and Chief Legal Counsel of Hong Kong Club of New Jersey, and a member of former Mayor Rudolph Guliani's transition team. In 1999, he founded the Chinese American Bar Association and was elected president. In 2000, he was appointed Manhattan Civil Court Screening Panel Administrator for the Democratic Committee. In 1997-2002, he was member of Senator Robert G. Torricelli's Armed Forces Academy Review Board. With the rapid economic development in Mainland China, and increasing volume of trade between these two countries, Mr. Raymond H. Wong is keenly interested in promoting the exchange of trade, finance and investment between the Unites States and China. He is interested in assisting Chinese companies entering the U.S. and world market.
