  • Devout non-denominational Christians are so great to talk with, so peaceful. I would LOVE to watch "Tony Jones" talk to a devout Muslim trying to talk to him about a "emergent church".. that would be a show worth watching

  • @MegaDaddysgirl2010 I really respect your thoughtful reply. My comment was probably from my cynicism toward the pomposity of the American evangelical church. Somehow we took an ancient living religious faith practice and made it look like a contemporary reality show.

  • @garansbarans I just think you're missing the point.....the point is not that it's ok to ignore the things we don't like....the point is that some are clearly more spiritual than others, and we cannot "bite and devour" one another just because we don't all follow the exact same "law". Back then it was circumcision, today it's meeting times, titles, etc. We should be spiritual enough to get past such petty differences and engage in the real battle TOGETHER!!!! Read Galatians.

  • @kc7fys Just don't forget that God does not judge as we do. He judges the heart... not the outward appearance...can we not see the person beyond the clothing? Come on!!!! I'd rather be one of the filthy, grimey, people on the streets who accept the invitation to dinner...know the scriptures I'm talkin' about? I can quote them if you need reminded....not trying to offend you, but we ALL need reminded to keep our eyes on the bigger picture sometimes. I'm not immune to tunnel vision either.

  • People who are lonely. . . hmmm. . . that sounds like 80% of America regardless of whether they are Christian or not. . . WOW. . .another statement targeting statistics.

  • haha... it's great for weddings

  • I love the Idea of taking Judaism practices outside of Christianity and making it more spiritual just like Jesus wanted.

  • NICE sarcasm on chapter 13 or corinthians,

How about "HOMOSEXUALS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD".

WOW.....WOW...the nerve, Tony you threw out Hell, Homosexuality, Atonement as Child Abuse, man, if you could only see the log in your own eye.

    WOW.

  • There's a hint of the fruit we're not seeing in this sobby film student film, divorce.

  • Using the word 'sh+t' is just as asinine. What's the point? Does profanity make you more authentic? Is it your hope that listeners will identify you as 'just like them' because you 'dress and talk just like them'? There is nothing wrong with Christians having a clean-cut and disciplined image--especially in the context of a culture that's known for devolved, slobbiness. Evangelism is even cheesier when it is wrapped in this postmodern hoody sweatshirt slouchiness. This is just gross.
